Celebrating the Franklin County Heritage

Franklin County, Virginia is know as the Moonshine Capitol of the World. When the partners of McFryeVo Three LLC purchased the golf course formerly know as The Westlake, they want to rename and rebrand to celebrate the rich history of Franklin County.

Copper is a main component of the moonshine production process so that was the obvious choice for the first word. The partners then decided on “cove” since there is a cove on Hole Three that is part of Smith Mountain Lake (which is a huge part of the Franklin County community). We love the name and hope you do too.
